Managers Support

You make the difference for each player's experience and development! Here are some expectations that we all should follow during the season. 

• Be at the field 15 minutes before players expected to arrive
• Be prepared with lineup (including sub plan for game) & equipment
• Be organized with umpire check forms before & after the game 
• Be energetic and positive, talk with the kids throughout the game 
• Be approachable by parents, converse with them during game (where appropriate) 
• Roster bat for 10U, work multiple pitchers for 10U
• Be the last one to leave the field

For the safety of the team and a robust experience for each family, we will need your help leading and enforcing the following:

1. Umpire Cash – You will be responsible for the cash for UMPs for your season games. Ohio Tide will provide each Manager funds throughout the season via EFT. Each team  will need to complete this brief form to document UMP payment for each game so we can keep track of how much additional money is needed. 
2. Team Communications – In the team app chat.
3. Keep the Schedule Changes Current (cancel, rain, reschedule) – In the team app.
4. Monitor Attendance via RSVPs (for practices and games) – In the team app and work with Aaron Brandt to confirm home field availability.
5. Complete a incident report for any player injuries during practices or games, email or text CJ Musser for next steps on this when an incident occurs.
